Trading Central on WRPRO
Technical views, market buzz and an economic calendar with event impact data, all inside your WRPRO account, at no extra cost.
What is Trading Central?
Trading Central is a third-party market research provider whose analysis is built into the WRPRO trading platform. It gives you three tools in one place: Technical Views with expected price moves, targets and pivot levels on forex, crypto, stocks, indices and commodities; Market Buzz, which ranks assets by how much they are being talked about; and Economic Insight, an economic calendar that shows how prices reacted to past releases.
Trading Central has published research for over 20 years and its methodology is patented (Technical Event® is its registered trademark).
Three tools, one dashboard
Open Trading Central from the platform sidebar and switch between the three modules with the toggles at the top of the screen. Each one answers a different question.
Technical Views
"Where could this market go next?" Chart-based analysis for every major asset class, with an expected move, a target and a pivot level on each card.
See how it works →Market Buzz
"What is everyone talking about?" A live map of stocks, cryptos, currencies and indices sized by how often they are mentioned in the last 24 hours.
See how it works →Economic Insight
"What happened last time this number came out?" An economic calendar where every release opens into charts of past results, price reaction, volatility and impact.
See how it works →Technical Views: expected moves, targets and pivots on one card
Technical Views is the module most traders open first. Pick an asset class: Forex, Crypto, Stocks, Indices or Commodities, and you get a grid of cards, one per instrument, each summarising Trading Central's current technical read. Type a symbol or name into the search box to jump straight to a specific market.
Forex and crypto views are built on a 30-minute chart and are refreshed during the session, so they suit intraday decisions. Stock views use the daily chart and are regenerated as the daily picture changes, which fits swing and position trading. The timestamp on every card tells you exactly when the view was last generated.
How to read a Technical View card
A Technical View card: instrument, chart, direction arrow and the Expected Move, Target and Pivot levels.
-
1
Instrument and timeframe
The pair or stock name and the chart the view is based on: 30 MIN for forex and crypto, DAILY for stocks.
-
2
Last update
Date and time the view was generated, shown in CET and your platform time zone (UTC+4 by default).
-
3
Chart
Recent candles with two overlays: a 20-period moving average with Bollinger Bands (pink) and a 50-period moving average (blue). The shaded band widens when volatility rises.
-
4
Direction arrow and levels
The bold arrow shows the expected direction. Green labels are upside levels, red labels are downside levels, blue is the pivot and the black label is the current price.
-
5
Expected Move
The size of the move Trading Central considers likely if the scenario plays out, in pips for forex, in percent for crypto and stocks. Green with an up arrow means bullish, red with a down arrow means bearish.
-
6
Target and Pivot
The target is the level the expected move points to. The pivot is the level that invalidates the view: if price crosses it, the scenario is no longer valid and the card will be reassessed.
New to these terms? The WRPRO Academy covers moving averages, Bollinger Bands and pivot levels step by step, and the Glossary has one-line definitions.
Market Buzz: see which assets the market is talking about
Market Buzz measures attention. It counts how often each stock, crypto, currency or index has been mentioned over the past 24 hours and turns the result into a picture: the bigger the bubble, the more the market is talking about it. It is a fast way to spot where news flow is concentrating before you open a chart.
Two ways to view it. The Bubbles view is for scanning. Hover any bubble to see the full company name and its mention count. The Table view sorts the same data into rows with symbol, name, industry and a mentions bar, which is easier when you want an ordered list.
Filters: Country (USA by default), Sectors & Industries, Market Capitalization, Bubble Size (Mentions 24h) and Bubble Color. Narrow to a single sector and cap size, micro-cap real estate for example, and the map redraws with only those names.
Economic Insight: an economic calendar that shows what happened last time
Economic Insight lists scheduled releases: employment, inflation, GDP, PMIs and more, with the time, country, importance rating (High, Medium, Low) and the actual, forecast and previous values. Use the calendar and the "Recent & Next" slider to move between days, and set your own time zone so release times match your clock.
What sets it apart from a standard calendar is the context under each event. Between releases, Trading Central inserts notes on how much a currency pair typically moves in the hours after past events, with a link to view the levels. And every event row expands into four analysis views:
Event Chart: Actual vs Forecast
A bar chart of past readings against their forecasts, with the range slider to go back several years. Handy for seeing whether a release habitually beats or misses expectations.
Price Chart: past events on the price
Plots each past release as a marker on the daily chart of a related market and lists the actual-versus-forecast result for each date. You can switch the instrument from the dropdown.
Volatility: historical impact
Summarises how the chosen market behaved after the last releases: the share of events that ended bullish or bearish, and the average true range one hour (or another window you choose) after the event.
Impact: one event, minute by minute
Zooms into a single past release on a 5-minute chart, marking the release time, the true range that followed and the direction the hour closed in. Step through previous events with the Prev / Next buttons.
Looking for the calendar only? WRPRO’s public Economic Calendar page lists upcoming events without logging in; the impact data above is available inside the platform.
Which Trading Central tool fits how you trade?
| If you… | Start with | What to look at |
|---|---|---|
| Trade forex or crypto within the day | Technical Views (30-minute cards) | Expected Move in pips or %, the pivot that invalidates the idea, and the update time. Refresh before acting. |
| Hold stock CFDs for days or weeks | Technical Views (daily cards) | Direction, target and pivot on the daily chart; check again after each session close. |
| Trade around news releases | Economic Insight | Importance rating, the Volatility view for average post-event range, the Impact view for what happened last time. |
| Look for stocks or coins in the news | Market Buzz | Largest bubbles for the day, then filter by sector and market cap to find names outside the obvious. |
Many traders combine them: find a name in Market Buzz, check its Technical View, then confirm no high-importance release is due in Economic Insight before opening a position.
